A nonprofit community art organization and annual art festival in Marfa, Texas
The Marfa Open House is an historic train depot turned HQ for our annual art festival. The rest of the year, it serves as an art gallery and exhibition space. We're host to all manner of events including musical performances, film screenings, charitable events, and wedding receptions. Marfa Open is a certified 501 (c)(3) non-profit arts organization with a goal of contributing to our community through our festival, events, residency opportunities and exhibitions. Our gallery, art studio, workshop, ceramics studio and event venue are available for local and visiting artists and is open to the public. Artists are invited to Marfa where they’ll create and exhibit work alongside one another, explore Far West Texas, and forge lasting connections. is an artist in residency program hosted at Marfa Open House.
