Job Title: Cybersecurity Specialist

Location: 100% Remote (USA – Preferred candidates from Texas, TX 73301)

Contract Type: 80% Contract-Based, Full-time

Project Overview:
We are initiating a new Program Transformation project at Shared Health, focusing on transitioning networks, systems, and services from non-Shared Health systems to Shared Health. This high-visibility project will play a critical role in enhancing mental health and addiction services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage security measures to protect systems, networks, and data.
  
• Monitor security access and perform internal and external security audits.
  
• Identify and address security breaches and vulnerabilities.
  
• Collaborate with IT and project teams to ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies.
  
• Prepare reports and documentation on security incidents and mitigation strategies.
  

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
  
• Strong knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
  
• Familiarity with risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods.
  
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
  
• Experience in healthcare or mental health-related projects is beneficial but not required.
